Women in ministry

With all the talk about our new Deacons (and Deaconesses) and Elders (but no "Elderesses"), we thought this would be a good opportunity to address the somewhat sensitive topic of women in ministry.

Over the last few years the Elders have talked about this issue and studied key passages, and we've finally put our thoughts down on paper here.

Hillside is a non-denominational church and we, no doubt, have people from a variety of church traditions with different ideas about women in ministry.
