Hey, once again, "hats off" to the retreat planning committee! Burkes, Douds, Chiappinis and Thomases--you all did a fantastic job of making this past weekend a very memorable one for Hillside! Thank you so much!
For those of you who coulnd't make it to the retreat, we missed you.

Massive kudos. We had a blast!! I LOVED having the kids taken care of. I think that I/we got a TON more out of the sessions this yearn compared to last year.

My cup overfloweth (Quiddler friends-Old English again)...I do not even have a good enough vocab. to describe how grateful I am. To God, for giving me eyes to see. To the retreat committee, for allowing me to be in the present moment because I don't have to think about the details. Thank you so much! To our pastors, for guiding and listening to the Holy Spirit and me. To the people at Hillside, I feel thankful to be let into your lives. What a gift!

Thanks Retreat Team for an amazing time. It was so much fun to be together and hear how people where feeling about connecting. Our kids had a great time making all the crafts. (thanks for thinking of the kids too!)

On a logistics note, we loved the room arrangements this year. Having the "lobby" area in the center made it a perfect place to put the kids to bed, and be able to spend time with the adults.
Thank you all for all of your planning and hard work! We had a great time getting to know everyone a little better and 'connecting'! :)
